Mike Zarilla, PA

Mike Zarilla received a bachelor’s degree in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, and then went on to receive a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Philadelphia University. He Began practicing in 2005, working the first 4 years of his career in cardiology, and has since practiced in primary care, predominantly at Alafaya Woods Family Medical Center. Mike is experienced in the management and treatment of both chronic and acute/subacute illnesses, and performs various procedures such as cortisone injections, trigger point injections, skin biopsies, and minor surgeries such as cyst, lipoma and skin cancer excisions. He has a special interest in the management and prevention of cardiovascular diseases as well as primary prevention of illness through a healthy lifestyle.
